I suppose I have to start this thread While I have more sympathy for Alty than I usually do for our opponents, I thought they were unlucky not to get a draw. We created very little, and when we did Darby and Rodgers never looked like scoring. We were saved by some great keeping by Howie, a solid game from Tinson and a moment of class from Sammy well finished by Lowe. I wont be boasting about this result in Alty tonight and I guess their fans will be happier with their teams perfomance than we will.

A win is a win and I for one am glad we have got back to winning ways. Away too! That'll do nicely!

What about the double save that Coburn? made in the first half, and the the couple of half chances?

Yes that double save was excellent, and came from a great run down the flank from Sammy AND AN EXCELLENT CROSS, something of a rare thing.

We didn't create much but those chances that we did create were the best of the game.
Their 'keeper was voted Alty man of the match
