Was in the Dun Cow last night pre-match and Sammy was in there. The lad suffered a lot of bad press a while back about off the field issues and I have great pleasure in reporting the complete opposite.
Could't speak highly enough of him last night ! He came over as a genuinely warm character, wise cracking without resorting to unPC jokes and polite and curtious. He time not only to speak to strangers but to listen to them. He had a quite (not binge!) drink and the his very presence added to the atmosphere.
Good on yer Sam ! Top Man !

Its funny that whenever I see sammy in liquid, he's usually very drunk, loud and hasnt got a minute for nobody! But a great player

He's definately a fans favourite at the moment, if only he could cross a ball.

so who are you Kev..?? The B+A clique dont recognise guest posters. Log in. Most of Sams bad press was because of rumours about him being out when in fact on one occasion he was 200 miles south of GM with Ratters. Only believe what you see and not hear. If he was being loud in liquid then perhaps its because the music is noisy

And the premiership players are angels, as are div 1.....2.....3, why not elaborate further and explain exactly, then we all might get an understanding of what he should not be doing ?

I met him once, as he was coming out of the Hole in the Wall. He was drunk and staggered into someone, and then abused them when he was reminded that they paid his wages. Just a bad night I suppose and it was probably 18 months ago

Well I'll speak up for the lad. My site name was taken in perhaps his dark days and I now regret it.
Have found the lad very ameniable over the last 18 months and it is nice to find someone so honest, warm and approachable. His only crime is wearing his heart on his sleeve.
Good lad ditto

His fitness levels and attitude this season have been second to none.
