He was excellent Stutt. One of the few England players not to look out of place (technique-wise) against the Italians.
Used the ball well, gave Luke some decent service and hit a superb 35 yarder that cracked the bar.
Hope he carries on that type of form and stays in the game.

Aint it about time someone made the Karl Murrey vs Martin Oconner Comparision, and, why was ratters (apart from the fact he was a crap manager) not playing him center mid in the end of season games last year - Center back what a fool that man was Say it carefully but - He should never have been alowed to leave this club

Agree with the theory, but to be honest, Karl let himself down over the last year and a half with some poor performances.
Wasn't given enough of a chance this year but once Lee Bell was signed, it was bye bye time.

I've made this point before and i'll do it again. We should have kept Murray and never bothered with Martin "paycheck" O'Connor.
I bet Murray loved coming back last night to show us what we'd missed out on......and I say good luck to him, I'd have him back any day.

Yes and Yes again he is a proper player - and i belive that with as much conviction as you do about Cramby.
All it takes is that first goal and then bang he will be away!
And i would also like to Jodey give his chance than put cramb back in!
but then again im not the manager and nither are you faginy (thank god ;D) so we will have to wait and see

Ok if karl was that good why didn't he play regualrly over the last few seasons? He had quite a few chances but rarely did enough to justify keeping him. When I first saw I thought he had real talent sadly for whatever reason he went backwards at the town. Hopefully, he can do it elsewhere. He has enough footballing talent what he seemed to lack was confidence and mental toughness.

If Murray had stayed Dave Edwards might not have got his chance so soon, I know who i'd rather have out of the two

According to my Big Bro,Karl ran the show for England ,and i wish the lad well in his carear at Woking. But karl had ample opprtunity at Shrewsbury to progress over many seasons, and never really held down his place.Time will tell if moving will be the making of a talented player ,i must admit i was one of those fans asking ,Can we get a better player.I may be forced to eat my words yet!

If Karl ran the show for England then his Italian counterpart must be one hell of a player.
