Apparently just over 3700.
With an half empty family stand and next to no one in the away end or seating.

Record attendance for this contest I heard.
Considering the state of the pitch due to the flooding, full marks to the ground staff for making it playable in such a short time.

My note about the crowd was that there were alot of people who are not regulars there - mainly in the teenager/adolecent bracket on a free "night out" - the riverside was full of em - which makes me think that not all the town regulars were there? That said i thought the whole evening had a nice atmoshpher (last 10 mis was a bit flat) but all in all a good show was put on. Also you could tell that a lot of the fans there last night were not regulars as there were massive laughs at some of our more regular chants - like people had never herd them before!!!
And its a good job we aint at home on sat as the wing by the riverside is a right mess and there were some very strange bounces on the pitch last night - i dont think sammy would have wanted to play on that wing last night

I did try to have a conversation with a couple of them this morning, about what they thought about last night, ie crowd and pitch they just looked at me with a blank expression, obviously none of them spoke english
