As a lot of people have said - we have one of the best squads in the conference.
However I've always been a believer that you can't build a team in a couple of months. I still think the team are gelling and we will see the best form in the new year. 3 of the players playing yesterday - Street, Darby and Potter have only been with STFC for a few weeks (or less).
For anyone who has ever played football they will know hard it is fitting into a new team. Tactics are different and you also need to fit in with the rest of the lads.

I do actually agree phil
I think that if they learn the lessons of Leigh and Tamworth, to name a couple, then they will start to understand what it takes to achieve in this league
The play offs are certainly our target for this year and we are well placed, and we certainly know there is good potential in our squad, with young lads and old professionals together
Most of Quinn's signings look good so far and are an improvement. The team does need to gel, and does need experience together
I do hope thye find this sooner rather than later! and find an effective pattern that utilises our strengths
We also Know that all along, right from the very beginning Jimmy Quinn said all he wanted to do was stay with the pack until Christmas and then mount a serious challenge.
We are still on course!

I agree with what you say Phil, except the fact that Potter is only a loan signing. If we don't retain his services we are left with Rioch again. I just hope to god that we can get him on a permanent deal, and you never know Potters wealth of experience might just rub off on Gregor..........Fingers Crossed

Only Moss and Lowe started on Saturday from the 'Ratcliffe Era'
Keep the faith. Still a long way to go. Only a few weeks ago people were posting on here that Hereford will never be caught.
We need to be playing our best football towards the end of the season, especally if we are in the playoffs.
