Now that Wimbledon have moved, I was just wondering whether opinion on the subject amongst other football supporters really was as clear cut as some would suggest. So I thought I'd make use of these new toys and do a poll. Think of it in terms of Shrewsbury deciding they couldn't survive in 4,000 a week and that market research showed that a nice new 15,000 seater stadium awaited them in........Aberystwyth.

Think you're doing Aber a disservice by comparing it to MK!
In fact, it's not a bad idea and I wouldn't mind our home games in August, September, April and May being on the Welsh coast!

it didn't work when I pressed your vote poll, thats probably why theres only 4 votes. I thought there must of been more shrewsbury fans than that. Yes i have noticed your ave attendances have gone UP this year.
Good luck in the conference

I dont wish for any club to die..well saying that there is one, but Franchise FC had to move, but it should have been back to the borough of Wimbledon.

I've bought my son and daughter shares in'The Fan's Stadium' established by the REAL Wimbledon. Every share applicant was asked to state the team they support, to be honoured on a plaque, when the stadium is opened. So of course, the name of Shrewsbury Town will be there for posterity.

The whole idea of moving a club 70 miles to 'save' it is shocking.
I'd prefer to watch Salop in the Sunday leagues than watch a franchise team playing under our name and badge

I started watching town in what is now the first and i'm still here, it's about our town and our club. AFC Wimbledon is true football, and in many ways aldershot and accrington stanley have been through a similar process of having to start again after being left in the lurch.
