Mrs S&R might be good on this one. No- I haven't been dreaming that Jimmy still plays at 50- or that the whole squad is replaced by Rioch look-a-likes and play-a-likes! Confess I'm feeling stressed! Ring daughter 2 to see how she is and she dumps all her work problems on me for about an hour till the phone's red hot!! Being pressurised to take on another pupil- this school is desperate for help. (Don't like to say "No!"- at this stage in my life, I feel glad I'm still needed! ) Trying to meet everyone's needs is a nightmare!! Please one- and someone else isn't pleased!! ( Does anyone else have this problem or am I too soft?) Result- strange dreams that seem real- like dreaming Mr Wiggy says there's people downstairs- and they've put a light on Or "hearing" the phone ring. I even got up at 3.am to ring 1471- so convinced was I that it was one of my brood in some dire trouble! If someone else said they were stressed- I'd probably have loads of advice! Well, The laughs we have on this site are a stress buster- and I'm going to try Camomile tea- and avoid alcohol, maybe.... how miserable is that?

I have heard someone knock on our front door in the night, when of course there is no one there. the phone ring too. Pauline try watching a film/programme you like before going to sleep, so you think about that rather than other thoughts. Another way, picture yourself somewhere you like, a beach perhaps with just you on it and the waves crashing against the rocks.

Hey- you know what waves crashing on rocks used to mean in films, JP? !!! You know the ones I mean? Couple in passionate embrace on beach. Camera discreetly turns away to show............... waves crashing on the beach!!! Oh, well- that's a nice thought, anyway!!! Thanks for the advice- I'm going to get my camomile tea, now! (And think nice thoughts!)

Often I can't sleep because I keep thinking about work/ college/ whatever I've got to do the next day.
Put a pad of paper and pen by your bed and if you have any thoughts you can't get out of your head then write them down - it may make you feel better knowing that if you forget about them they'll be on the pad of paper in the morning.
It can help.

I get really vivid dreams the main reccuring style i hear a piercing scream and feel a grip around my ankle and get the feeling that i'm being dragged really quickly and get that rollercoaster feeling in my stomach so thats a bit freaky
anyway Pauline arrange some you time for an hour or so, take the phone off the hook, soak in a hot bath by candlelight, burn some lavender oil, try Whittards Bedtime tea

I woke up at 5.30am this morning and thought I had to drive 80 miles to work, through the wind and rain, having only had 5 hours sleep.
Then I realised it wasn't a nightmare........

Can't sleep? ITV1 can help you! Just put Im a Celeb LIVE on, works a treat for me. Had an odd dream/mare last night, was waiting for a dream date..... in Bridlington . Never been there, not been mentioned or read about it anywhere, but was a very vivid townscape i was walking through. Somehow I knew it was up north on the coast, but no idea how! (I checked today, and it is Yorks ways i believe) . Anyway, they never showed, and I swear I willed myself awake to stop myself being disappointed...!!! Anyone care to explain?

Wow, Grinfish- that is a weird dream. I have stayed at Bridlington, once- a long time ago. It may have changed- I was only in my teens then. What did this townscape look like? I once had a vivid dream about a place- then a year or two later- we went there and I recognised it- it was Tenterdon, down south. People explain these things by saying it's a feeling of Deja-Vue, and it's just one side of your brain working faster than the other or something- so you THINK you've been there before. But I knew I'd seen it in a dream. Perhaps your dream tells you that you're ready for a new relationship- and yet you want to be in control- that's why you willed yourself to wake up- so you wouldn't find out if you'd been stood up. Only it could be anything new. You're probably after something new in your life- and that always involves risk of failure. But you go for it if it seems the right direction! It's my first attempt at dream interpretation. It's probably a load of rubbish!!!
