Heard it all before Jimmy, results not talk! www.shrewsburytown.premiumtv.co.uk/page/ManagersComments/0,,10443~457430,00.html

I don't see what's wrong with the comments, we did work hard as we had 1 less player than the opposition - remember we reduced tamworth to only two clear cut chances.
I'm confident that had we had 11 men on the field we'd have easily won. Anyone who has ever played football should know how different it is having one extra player on your team.
I'm not defending the long ball tactics etc... but just remember we were away from home playing with 10 men for most of the game

phil face up mate we were sh*te and then we put Rioch on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't like this attitude that most of our fans have of us at the moment. All this we're s**te etc.... not right. I'd be dissapointed if we were mid-table but at the moment we're still well in contention with the chasing pack. Win @ home and draw away gives you a season total of 84 points.

We were poor but today it wasn't a fault of effort on the player's behalf. We still created the better chances with ten men.
To PPP - what do you want JQ to say in his interviews exactley?

I would like him to say
"sorry fans it was not good enought today (heres your money back) and some players apared not to be trying or unfortunatly are not good enought at this level, i will give the players a bollocking (for probably the first time ever) and tell them to shove there self assesment forms up there a***. And i will also mek em come all together in 1 bus so they know who the hell each other are" just a thought and it would never happen but i would like to here someting like that!

I thought when O'Conner was sent off, with no Tolley in midfield, and no pace in the likes of Luke I honestly feared the worst. From the sending off upto HT we really struggled. I think O' Conner is getting off lightly, he should be thinking of doing a proffesional job and 3 points not silly battles on the pitch with one player resulting in 2 booking and a sending off all in the first 25 minutes of a game. He is to blame for us not taking home 3 points, it's as simple as that.

Yes Glyn and then wait for the responses of 'JQ is so unprofessional slagging the players off in public etc. etc.'

I was half jokeing before ;D Clearly that would never happen but i stil think that it was a fairly bad post match interview for a frustrated fan but i understand that that is how every manager would respond todays game but it still annoyed me!!!! seriously i have rarely had a go a quinny till tonight. But tonight i did it because i belived he was partly to blame with subs and taticts, unlike oter games where the players he put out have let him down

I'd like to see him address the short comings of the team, in a constructive manner, and not just gloss over them with 'we can work on things' type comments
I also don't want to hear him focusing on the officials when he should be focusing on his players and I don't want to hear him being satisfied with a point from matches we should be comfortably winning
My comments aren't purely related to today (actually I wasn't there today) but are a general comment on his post-match interviews
To listen to Quinn sometimes you'd think we must be playing generally well and there is just the odd tweak required here and there!

Tamworth definitely deserved their point, I thought they worked as hard today as they did at our place earlier in the season, even if they do have a lack of creativity.
Have to say JQ appears to be getting a little harshly treated at the mo, even though I do think he has certain 'dilemmas' with some players, whats the real reason for players like Rodgers (and to a lesser extent, Fitzpatrick) not playing? And Bavo was probably left off the bench for Exeter because he probs told JQ to f*** off or something like that, things like this happen every now and again at football clubs and workplaces in general when people are frustrated in their job.
