did anyone else notice our defenders shouting at each other fairly angrily through the game,e specially at the end of the first half, they were really giving each other a piece of their mind
Must have been music to Tamworth's ears
It is times like that you need to stick together and get stuck in, not blame things on people around you
There have been rumours flying around about unhappiness behind the scenes, and to be honest there doesn't seem to be a lot of team spirit at the moment, and petulant outbursts at each other do nothing for morale

I remember the incident with Bruce Grobbelaar and Jim Beglin at the 86 cup final where they mouthed off at each and Grobbelaar pushed Beglin. That seemes to show a little more "Come on lets get stuck in from Liverpool". Todays just showed nobody quite what the other was doing.

The strange thing was that that first bout of arguing between Rinno and Howie was all cos Howie saw a ball get floated in - saw it was going to sail out of play and left it, but tinno was angry he did not get a call, it was not as if they had just made some massive mistake, it was just some normal play, which makes me think that there are some underlieing tensions at the club. there is no team spirt we are individuals who happen to play for the same team.

It's not the first time there has been a difference of opinion between Tinson and Howie, it's happened in several games
For me Howie doesn't command his area as well as he should

at least the players care and realise there are some problems there that they are tryingf to address.
"It is times like that you need to stick together and get stuck in, not blame things on people around you" - Trust me it's incredibly difficult when playing to keep calm in those types of situations, sometimes these things need to be aired so that people can learn from them.
What would be the point of always saying, next time do this, next time do that when players aren't listening?

Howie was very solid again today and after making an excellent initial save for their goal will have been disapointed not to have come out as a winner today. As for the defence arguing - on the positive side at least it shows they recognise there are short-comings and that they do care. If there was no talking/ shouting/ arguing then people tonight would be writing posts entitled 'why don't the defence talk more'

The defence did plenty of shouting, arguing, whatever you want to call it last season, I don't remember too many positive comments about them doing so back then

I've been to most home games and several away games this season, I didn't realise my opinion is not valid because i've committed the terrible crime of actually missing some games!

Don't agree with the point made about shouting sorry. As fars as Im concerned, players can shout as much as they like at each other. Go watch Roy Keane at United......
What is important is that before and after the match, the team spirit is good and we have a set of players who are tactically aware of what they need to do. That has been painfully lacking this season.
PS Is our first team coach earning his money?.........

i'd rather have someone shouting at me than them saying nothing. Also if they give a b*****ing then the player is more likely to do it right the next time as to avoid another ear full. must say though that tinson does like to have a right go for small things. like earlier in the season he's having a real go at rioch for not getting out with the line, when the ball was rolling out for a goal kick. but he probably just wanted to shout at rioch
