Their lads made a meal of it, no doubts, but he went sliding in two footed and got warned by the ref, then a couple of minutes later he went sliding in two footed and got booked, then four or five minutes later he went sliding in and got sent off.
This is not what I expect from a professional with as many games as he has under his belt playing for the clubs he has.
Referee was dire, yes, but O'Connor got himself into trouble when he didn't have to and we were an accident waiting to happen from that point on.
Come on Martin, there is a great player in there, let us see a bit of him!

Sorry TBH have to disagree. The second booking was a disgrace, the Tamworth player lost control, the ball bounced up and Martyn put his foot in to win the ball, he deffinatley didn't slide in.

The Tamworth players ran to the Ref (if thats what u call him) as if o'conner had just Knifed there player and ran off with his life savings , total disgrace , they knew that with there actions they just wanted him red carded.

My point is that whether it was a foul or not, once you have been booked keep your nose clean for at leats ten minutes. He was always going to get in trouble whether he got the ball or not.

O'Connor made no double footed challenges - he made a couple of rash ones that he got warned and then booked for.
It's a team game and to say one player only let us down is wrong

It's a team game and to say one player only let us down is wrong I challenge that final statement Phil, because the actions of one player then made the task of the other ten much much harder. Having said that, the other ten weren't great themselves!

Their number 27 was a tit, diving and goading the away fans.
However O'Connor had no complaints about the bookings and I am dissapointed with him.
Let's hope he bounces back after this set-back.
