Wot an atrocious performance. We were never in it . The referee gave us nothing and we gave ourselves even less. When will Quinn realise that these performances are 50 miles away from being good enough.I followed Town last season and hate to admit it but we are no better this season. The difference is that our opponents are poorer this season. If JQ isn t capable of lifting his team higher than this then he s in the wrong job.Supporters talk about his excellent record in the league and the conference but hang on a minute he was manager at Northwich and they are still in the conference. With the exception of Hereford we havent had a really good league performance all season With such a fantastic away following and money in the bank we should be thrashing Tamworths every week but we are doing nothing short of embarrassing ourselves Today was another day out when all would have been really enjoyable if we hadn t had to go to the match. Rant over....... Just a bit more. What is Dave Cooke s place at the club.JQ is manager and Chic is coach.Just jobs for the boys? ?

I understand the sentiments here.
Leigh were actually a farily useful side.
Today we played an absolute bag of cack, what a poor side, dirty, lanky up front, hoof hoof hoof, school playground stuff, and we had no answer to it.
I can only thank God I don't have to watch that cack every week. Oh darn, i do!

I can see the away following drifting slowly away now.

I can see the away following drifting slowly away now. i'm gonna save a bit of cash now, and reappear at Northwich. OR at least that's what I am telling myself, but whether I can is another matter!

Do you know the financial situation at the club? How does having money in the bank guarentee sucess?
Not having a go, just interested in your thoughts. :-)

We'll see regards the away followings.
The next three home games vs telford, burton and Northwich are crucial - win them both and you can guarantee another massive turnout from the b&a faithful at Northwhich (Witton) on new years day.

I certainly won't be one of the town fans who will ever consider giving up travelling to support the team I love.

I don t know exactly how much we have in the bank but I would say we are better off than Exeter and Hereford and all the Part time teams and cerainly on paper have the best squad by miles. Money in the bank doesn t guarantee success. We know that.

only thing or not it earned you a point. I did warn you about the refs in this league before the season started , they are atrocious most of them.

To be fair Town had a much stronger penalty appeal for handball waved away near the end of the game.

It wasn't so long ago, when you visited us,that we rated you the best side we had seen at Stonebridge Rd. Tamworth 1 Fleet 3 last week. Tamworth 1 Shrews 1 It's a funny old game!! Looking forward to our visit to you in March, you playing for a play-off place, and us relegation?

1/12/02 Could anybody have predicted how the rest of the season would pan out NO !!!!
So how come we all fear the worst for the rest of this season ? Have you seen Chester this season ? If so would you want to watch them on a regular basis ? As for Hereford they look too fragile to sustain a challenge. We could win four of the next five games so don't let self doubt creep in, it'll only get to the players, so shrug off the poor days put them behind us and look forward to the glory days ahead !!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong- most of you have a lot more knowledge than I have- but I think part of the trouble is that they've got an attitude problem- they get very complacent when they're playing teams they consider to be inferior. (When I went to Leigh- I could see that- and quite a bit of the famous "hoofing!") We're far too good to them- they've got just about the best supporters any team could hope for. It's about time we got round to some tough talk- who's for compiling a group letter of complaint- or setting up a petition? We could do it on-line like we did with the Fan's Charter. Let's give the lazy **??!!*** a waKe up call!!

True, there is certainly no lack of ability, so it's either a lack of attitude and/or poor tactics

Diggerdave, my sentiments are entirely with you mate, with one exception, you and I both know that we'll be back for more down at Margate on the 14th, surely for a guaranteed 3 points (damn, I've said it). Why do we put ourselves through it... because we LOVE the Town. Sadly, at the moment, I think more than one or two of our squad. Never mind, Keep the faith, it can only get better, and will.....surely. UP THE TOWN.
