Today we where rubbish, they where rubbish, the ref was rubbish, the people/pubs of Tamworth where rubbish. Last week Hereford Utd FC turned up and Gay Meadow all in the team bus and left all together. We go away to places such as Tamworth, Burton, chester and on our way home who do we see flying past us but Town players on their way home. Where is the team spirit, togetherness? I appreciate players not wanting to drive to Shrewsbury just to go to somewhere closer to the homes, but they could park up at a service station so could talk over the game. Town players seem to think at places such as Tamworth, Leigh all they have to do is turn..it is not good enough and all your doing is letting us down. If Sam Aiston is not 100% fit after the flu why was he on the bench? why not Fitzpatrick? O'Connor, your pathetic actions today didnt help...you SHOULD KNOW BETTER . Im sick and tired of HOOF, play the fecking thing to someone rather HOOFING it up forward, its dull and gets us nowhere. Im fed up of this crap they are serving, Quinn was happy with a point at the end! What b******s! IM p**sED OFF WITH TOWN

I didn't realise that they all made their separate ways to fixtures. That's shocking - they should be on the team bus from The Meadow to wherever irrespective of where they live. If Quinn isn't prepared to give people a good b*llocking then perhaps he might want to give me a call and I'll do it for him
Perhaps it explains why we play like individuals rather than a team -towards the end of the first half the back four spent more time shouting at each other and Scott Howie rather than trying to play against Tamworth

Best bit was Sedge overtaking us by Brownhills and giving an after match interview with Stu Dunn on the radio at the same time.
Pilch; Rioch is back in the squad as taxi driver, he had a car full. At a guess Street, Cramb and Ridler.

I don't really want entertainment and I don't care how "thrilled" we are by them. What I want is good discipline, good creativity, tactical know-how, some simple passing football, effective direct long balls and maybe even three points?

JP said - "We go away to places such as Tamworth, Burton, chester and on our way home who do we see flying past us but Town players on their way home."
I find that absolutley unbelievable. I'm sure the face of STFC, old Kiethy boy said that this wouldnt happen under the new management as it did under KR. I think even JQ said as much, he will demand a tight nit team with every training, working together. There Should be no exceptions, even when its only down the A5 to Telford.
Some of the posts I have read thus far are disturbing... :-(

Eh? Players making their own way to a relatively local fixture? You expect that in the Sunday League.... What next? Players being allowed to train away from the GM? Surely a pro outfit should get their players together well before a game to go over tactics and gee them up for it.

So we're back onto this all travelling together nonsense are we. Just like last year some inconsistent form is not laid at inconsistent player but the fact that they don’t travel together!?!? As long as Jimmy is happy that he’s said enough before and after the game then its fine that they travel separately. Travelling together doesn’t automatically breed team spirit, and if the players are forced to it’s more likely to break it. After listening to Jimmy’s interview on shrewsworld last week I’m convinced of his professionalism, we just need to trust in him and give it time.

Serve them an ultimatum- either they get their act together or we back off! It will be a really really hard thing to do- but let's face it- we've tried everything else!! They're taking us for granted, just because they've just about got the best supporters in the Conference!! We love Town- and it hurts to say this- but threaten to hit 'em in their pockets and they may wake up a bit. Trouble is- (a) A lot of you have season tickets and - more especially- (b) The nimbys amongst Shrewsbury residents would be only too pleased to see STFC go to the wall. We love them- but they're making monkeys out of all of us- it's got to be Tough Love- Boot Camp stuff!!!
