Knocking around for a few weeks now, visiting friends in Shropshire and the chance to take in a few games. So have come on here to pull up a sandbag and chew over the past 6 months. So whats been happening ladies and gentlemen ? There seem to be some very unhappy punters about. Reasons for this ? By the way i am very calm but equally very suprised (or not, having had my early season reservations ) with the way things are going and supporters reaction.

The team overall are perfoming inconsisantly,With the money that has been used on good players ,it must be said that Darby Rioch Banim Cramb and Oconner and Street dont always play to their potential. We sometimes play poorley and gain a point when we should easily gain three. Our perfomances so far have just about warrented a playoff place ,But we are in danger of losing that by clubs behind us picking extra points up and us drawing.Iam not impresed by the quality in the Conference but even the poor sides we beat easily are turning their season around. The other sides in playoff positions look good value to stay there ,we need to put a string of wins together quikley.

The Town have been generally very poor and have massively underachieved given that we probably have the best squad in the Conference and, in my opinion, a better squad than last season
Quinn seems to have no idea what our best XI is or in what formation they should play and his team selections and tactics over the season have left plenty to be desired, in particular when consistently picking himself and Rioch
Our league position is a reflection of the quality of the Conference rather than our performance level
We'll probably just about scrape a playoff spot

Essentially we are teamwork and a formation short of being a good team
at the moment we've got a good squad of players just about scraping into the play offs
I do still think we have a chance this year, but I am also deeply disappointed with the poor quality of our football, the lack of desire of our team, some intensely embarrassing results and the inability of Mr Quinn to do anything about it, despite talking a good (but increasingly detached from reality) game.
The transfers this year have been exciting and bizzare in equal measure
The bottom line is that we can still win the title, but we won't, and that's really irritating
