Hi all,
Firstly thanks to all of you who have supported the B&A Merchandise sales to date.
We're nearly out of t-shirts and polo shirts but I will be speaking to Shakey later about new merchandise with different designs.
The good news is that the current t-shirts will continue to run - and you will be able to have any player name/ number on them. Rather than ordering a big batch you will be able to simply ask what size and name/number you want and Shakey will get them made up on request.
However we have to decide what the next type of merchandise will be.
What would you buy? Or what do you think will be popular.
We can do t-shirts printed or with embroidery on them, another run of polo shirts. A different design of t-shirt - or sweatshirts etc. etc.
The choice is yours..
Any ideas very welcome

Once I've got the remaining money in from the final few shirts ordered/ reserved I'll post it all up on here. Suffice to say it's been a good addition to the b&a fund.

I agree with Phil. Maybe do mugs or a B&A one-off fanzine collecting old and new articles? Could leave clothing until after the Morecambe game when we know our destiny. T-shirts could have "STFC - on loan to the COnference for another year" written on them!

The fanzine idea is class - i have with a few of my mates been looking into doing one in some capacity but its a hard thing to organise. The best thing about this site we have a number of commited and helpfull people so getting that off the ground should not be a problem - although it would be full of anti tory stuff judging by this weeks posting!!!!!
I thought a hat would be a good idea - with the BandA symbol on the front and possibly something else???

Just to further the B&A fanzine, maybe it should be called something other than a fanzine - certainly don't want to infringe on the ALS?
Make it a bit bigger and subtantial than a normal fanzine and sell it in the £2-£3 price range.

You can't fail with b & a baseball caps- keep the rain off on a Winter's Tuesday night, keep the sun out of your eyes when you watch Town clinch the Championship I'm sure a couple of designs could be presented by someone with infinitely more tekkie ability than myself- Pilch perhaps? (Similar to the T- shirt thread)

Try and incorporate the web address into the design somehow.
I suggested this when first asked for input. I've had loads of people in my gym over here have a look & ask what 'blueandamber' means, what its about.

How's about a B&A fleece if possible, i reckon the club ought to do some official ones as well, just in case we get the "odd cold day"

I'd definitely be happy for some of my old articles to be published in a B&A commemorative fanzine type thing. I'd be happy to submit some new stuff too or help with the editing (and no offence but proof reading is obviously a luxury at ALS Towers and the Programme editor's office). In fact ant, email me if you want me to start putting some copy together. If someone else will sort out the printing, it might be a great idea. The perfect book to keep in the loo and dip into when you're squeezing out a log.
