Yeah i know, it's maybe not politically correct ...but you have to admit he is the biggest gaff maker of all time. it's hard to beat the style and consistency of the Duke of Edinburgh. To a Scottish driving instructor: "How do you keep the natives off the booze long enough to pass the test?" In the 1980s recession: "Everybody was saying we must have more leisure. Now they are complaining they are unemployed." To British students in China: "If you stay here much longer you'll all be slitty-eyed." To a Kenyan woman: "You are a woman, aren't you?" To put things into perspective Samantha Marson, now on bail but due to appear in court in Miami, has a long way to go before she gets anywhere near to knocking old uncle crackpot off his throne as britains number 1 gaff maker.

Do you remember the time he said that something or other must have made by Indians ? ( because it was badly made- I don't recall all the details, perhaps you'll know!) Anyone else would have been sued long ago!!!

I think the quote was "That fuse box Looks like it was put in by indians"
How about a joint Phil the Greek / Sid Waddell Prize??
