For the Race Night I paid to "own" horses but did it under the Fantasy Football Leagues name. Bellevue Shrew has informed me that at least one of our horses was a winner.
The prizes for this will be used for a new competition. At the request of Billbo Biggins I am pleased to announce there will be a Cup competition for all teams who are knocked out in either the 1st or 2nd Round of the Sweet FA Cup. This competition will be called the "Billbo Biggins Consolation Plate" or BBC Plate for short.
Further more the teams knocked out in the 1st Round of the Sweet FA Cup are guaranteed a bye to the 2nd Round of the BBC Plate

Great idea Martin - once again thanks for the top effort you've put in on the fantasy footy comp this year, a lot of money has been raised from it ;D

BBC plate sounds like a bit of a mickey mouse cup to me.
Do we get anything for winning either of these

[shadow=blue,left,300]Martin did indeed come good in one of the races at the race night on behalf of the Fantasy Football League.
The race he won in saw a £10 prize which the lucky winner of the BBC plate will now receive. [/shadow]

To have a trophy named in my honour is a privilage. So after speaking to Martin Berry, I have decided to donate £10 towards the prize. With a bit of luck I might get my money back

Thank you very much Billbo it is most appreciated. Would you prefer the prize money to be £20 for the winner or £15 for the winner and £5 for the runner-up. I will leave the choice up to you. Only 5 games away from getting your own money back
