Another ill informed letter in the star in my opinion. He is right principply about the arguing, but he doesnt half spout bulls**t about STFC 1)Hovering over the relegation zone for a few seasons. Bulls**t 2)How many players did we sign on transfer deadline day? 5? And KR admitted he was offered money before then too. 3)As for the new ground. Well AS got his because the council co-operated. We havent got ours because of the council. Nothing to do with ambition. And as for the FA Trophy game? Well we paid full prices, which put off people, whereas TUFC were handing out vouchers for their big cup game. No doubt someone will slate me for posting this. www.shropshirestar.com/sport/sportspost/publish/article_11286.shtml

I just found it funny that 90% of the letter was slating us and then it ended with how we should all get along and end this childish bickering When I was reading it I was going through each point and could have come up with something to counteract it but realised that is exactly what the SS want. So I counted to 10 and am now all calm Unfortunately Im positive that some people will bite to it (and the letters yesterday) and this could go on for some time

Agreed. A call to be above childish bickering preceeded by several paragraphs of childish (and not particularily accurate) point scoring.
Telford's ambition amounts purely and simply to Sandy Shaw's cheque book - when he consents to open it.
How much ambition was Sandy Shaw showing last season when Telford had a shoestring budget, part-time squad and hovered just above relegation all season.

Twelve months ago you were right, even now the club is very much at the mercy of Mr Shaw. However, with the new developments, the amount of new revenue streams into the club and greater input from local businesses (You can't get a box for love nor money these days), there is a stroing base for the future.
Its up to the team to perform on the pitch and build on the 84% (or thereabouts!) season-on-season increase in supporters attending matches. Ok, we were starting from a low base, but that sort of increase is phenominal. It may not even be close to your attendances (or away followings) but its a bloody great effort. I wonder what odds would have been avauilable on this increase at the start of the season?

Yep you're right to a certain extent, however I'll be interested to see what TUFC will actually be left when AS goes, be it large loans to be paid back? A ground to rent off AS? No youth or reserves and a hotel which the club can't make income on. OR a solvent club, with a reasonable fan base, revenue coming in from its hotel etc...
No-one can be sure what future TUFC has after AS.
