Dont hold you're breath waiting for an answer to that one............... I'm asking him to explain exactly what Mr Cooke and Mr Bates are employed to do.............. similarly I'm expecting a deafening silence on that one.............. also what style of play does he prefer his sides to play.................... and is he pleased with the improved fitness levels of his players as we see each and every week they start to get the upperhand in the last 20 minutes or so against the part timers................Accy played midweek and had all the energy of our lads and more................... 16 games to go is it? ?..........before you can blink the season will be over....GET YOU'RE QUESTIONS IN NOW...................even if they get no response it is our only way of registering our dissatisfaction with the rubbish we are being served up on far too many occasions................. Yes we are a Conference Club and yes Conference football is cr@p but thats no excuse.............we're a proud club with a proud and successful history for a Club of our standing and dont forget we were PROMISED................. "It wont happen again" Our position in the table reflects the standard of the League......................not our standard of football....... Our standard of football overall this season has been dreadful and its about time we started to tell em so.................get your e-mails in now.........................

I did also ask if he could pick a "World XI" what tactics would he want to play?
Ed very good questions every single one. It will be very interesting to see what questions are answered.

Do you think playing yourself has any effect on the morale of the squad?

He wont answer them,I.m not that bothered if he does'nt...........
I'm much more interested that the fans start to make their disscontent heard................
In terms of the product we pay our hard earned cash to watch we've been turned over this season to date, its been awful..............
about time something was done about it.............
I'm also asking for a mid-term report from my friends "THE BOARD" to be issued.............no doubt praising the lofty position we find ourselves in and congratulating the players/management etc for the free flowing, electrifying skilful football we are being entertained by each and every week................
As Churchill would have said.............
"Never in the history of Conference football.........
have so many points been accumulated............
by so few.............
in the presence of SO MANY..........
by serving up such utter cr@p".....................

Shrewforever is right. I saw this on the front page of the official website and thought, "what's the point?"
The point is, of course, we will still be here long after the Quinn Reaper is sything the beautiful game elsewhere.
These are the questions I have posted - with absolutely no expectation of a reply to any of them. I suggest anyone else who posts questions to Ask Jimmy also posts them on this messagebaord too.
1) Does an agreement, either in writing or verbally, exist between Shrewsbury Town Football Club and Crewe Alexandra Football Club for the latter to buy Luke Rodgers? 2) Don't you think that the Accrington Stanley game was there for the taking? Shouldn't you have put Glenn Tolley on for the last 20 mins to get behind them? 3) Is there any prospect of you returning to the Cramb-Roders striking partnership, or do you consider that it cannot work?

I've given up on the 'Ask Jimmy' feature as he obviously refuses to answer any of the questions we really want and really need to be answered What's the point in the feature if he won't answer such questions? As much use as a chocolate fireguard! After yesterday I may send one asking if he knows the difference between his arse and his elbow though

my two questions....Last season's exploits were mainly due to a lack of team spirit(allegedly). When you over yoo stated that the Team would train, travel etc etc, as a team, So why as early as the Aldershot & Woking away games were Town players arriving and leaving in there own cars? is there a need for a team coach these days??
Is Glen Tolley the answer to our right midfield problems give the guy a chance.......
no answers expected ;D ;D ;D

In all fairness Ian even when it was appearing on shrewsweb he was so selective and fussy about what he'd answer that it wasn't much use anyway

Come on everyone lets give Ian a chance. He's explained why "Ask Jimmy" hasn't been up.
Get your questions in again, if there is no answers I am sure Ian will let us know that Jimmy isn't prepared to answer our questions and his reasons why. Don't shoot the messenger it's not Ian's fault.

I think Jimmy said when he first joined the club that he would not answer anything on team selection in the Ask Jimmy section. I maybe wrong.
