Sorry but he must go now.I know you had this out after the daggers game and the general thought was over reaction after one game, well it isnt one game is it.Try Margate home and away, today and Barnet at home and the games at Stevenage,Leigh,Exeter,Tamworth and the fore mentioned daggers game. Also lots of games against real crap sides where we have played well for 30 mins and scrapped in by the odd goal. Now compare this to the games we have truly played well and i give you Hereford, not good enough.5 months into the season he does not have a clue what his best front line is or what formation to play,im affraid he dosent have a clue,i mean do you ever see Fergie or Wenger playing a 443 and leaving their best midfielder available(connor)on the bench.Go and manage your country Jimmy

Absolutely correct. Go now Quinn and take all your mates with you. The money he has had to spend in building the best squad in the conference is wasted if he cant get them to play. Clueless, useless and a total waste of money. While your at it Jimmy take those idiot Directors with you too. We are a laughing stock and a joke, go now we deserve better

WHERE IS THE ROOT PROBLEM WITHIN OUR CLUB Between the players and the manager, well i can see that, know body else So who's fault is that, if you lose the dressing room Yes i think that is down to the manager. Who is the manager Quinn. So not good enough equals go not good enough equals go now..... and take everything you bought with you too.

"not good enough equals go now..... and take everything you bought with you too. "
I agree with the not playing sentiment, but suggesting that Riddler, Tinson, Banim and O'Conner should leave with Quinn is absurd.
We are a Conf. team and Quinn has been given a chance to prove himself a good manager. Give him two seasons.

This thread is a joke, I agree that JQ needs to hang up his boots now, but say we sack him tomorrow, and have to pay thousands of pounds in compensation to him (and possibly Cooke and the other backroom staff he has brought in) who the hell do we bring in to replace him with no money?
Like a previous message said, the man has two years to get us back in the League, two years may sound too long, but he should be given that amount of time to complete that task, if we are still a Conference club by August 2005, THEN we should look for someone else.

Oh how we suffer fools gladly. So you will be happy then Dale with a club still in the conference in 2005 and is it not better to pay now while we have the money, than wait until Quinn spends it all. He is not cutting the mustard, so it's see you later Quinny ta ta, bye bye. Give Dean Spink ago

I think 443 would work for us.
The Quinn Reaper is clueless.

Quinn is proving a big disappointment but is the Chairman going to stand up and be counted. He appointed the current the the previous manager.
He continued supporting the last Manager after he had lost the dressing room and ripped the heart out of the club.
Is the same mistake being repeated again?
Chic Bates should have been brought back as Manager because he understands the club!

Too many Cookes(oh have I spelt that correctly?)if you ask me........................
I remember earlier in the season how JQ mentioned how it was his assistant Manager that kept driving him on to play the game................
JQ has to grasp the nettle and MANAGE,simple as that, perhaps he is doing his best, I dont know..............
if he is doing his job as well as he can then in my opinion there is room for improvement...............
if as I suspect, and as I said its only a guess, hes taking too much notice of his backroom helpers, then he needs to get some more confidence in himself a.s.a.p and get on with the job in his own way.............
Finally, the old ones are always the best,................give Chic the job and he'd lead us out of the Conference alright......................straight into the Feeder Leagues..........................

Sacking JQ now would still be the wrong decision. Accy are 7th in the league and have beaten Hereford and drawn with Chester (away) already this term.
The performance was shÃte agreed but it's not the time to think about sacking JQ.
However if he doesn't hang up his boots NOW then the pressure is going to rise and rise in the coming weeks.

Not forgetting their run in the Cup too...
As for Quinn, he has a long way to go to restore everyones faith after that humiliation at Dagenham…it appears yesterdays performance was a long way short...
But despite all the doom and gloom I think he should be given the full season.

The thing that really worries me is we seem to be getting worse. We knew a team with 5 or 6 new players would take time to settle so a few iffy games early on was to be expected.5 months into the season they are the norm.Ant the fact that accy are 9th goes to show what an awful league this is and how bad our results are, accy were crap.As for the comment about Chic Bates being a bad coach, well u dont coach at Blues,Stoke and CELTIC if your a bad coach,Chic would be my choice to take over.If we are still in this div in 2005 home gates would be down to 1500 with an away following averaging 150.we need to act now

You do get to coach at Swindon, Birmingham, Stoke and CELTIC if you are Lou Macari's sidekick though!!

So you will be happy then Dale with a club still in the conference in 2005 and is it not better to pay now while we have the money, than wait until Quinn spends it all. I DONT want us to be a Conference club in 2005, I want us to go up THIS year, but JQ has been handed a two year contract which means he has two years to get us out of what is a poor but extremely tough league, I also record RW on saying the same thing in the Chronicle. If JQ isnt the man to turn around our fortunes then I believe RW should also go with him as it will have meant he has made three poor managerial appointments, and I'm sure he would. But lets not panic so much shall we, just look at our position in the table and while we havent set the world alight this season, there is still all to play for.
