Not necessarily a player. The referee? All in all I thought that he had a good game - played the advantage very well, and if the advantage didn't materialise quickly, brought play back for the original offence. I wish more refs would do that. Also was very sparing with his cards, and gave a talking to to players instead - a common sense approach. However he blotted his copybook a couple of times in the second half, penalising Sammy for holding, when he was clearly (from my view in the Wakeman stand) being impeded himself. However, I think he was pipped to person of the match by Ryan Jervis (a) for his comments on the P.A. at half time about it being a dire first half and changes would no doubt be made for the second half(correct). and (b) for his comments when Accy were dillying and dallying over their substitution that Accrington Stanley would be eventually making a substitution.

what?!?!?!? the ref today was about as much use as a broom with no handle or brush.
he gave almost everything to accy and hardly anything to us.

Thought the ref was pretty good today overall, we've had far, far worse this season (most games).

Ryan just gets better and better, after his little dig at Morecambe's Garry Thompson last week, following a long struggle from the fourth official to get to grips with his electronic subs board, Ryan said "I believe we have a substitution" ;D

I too thought the referee had a good game.
