Quinn is having a larf trying to use this as an excuse, it didn't look any worse than last Saturday to me when it strangely didn't get a mention in his post-match interview

The pitch is bad at the moment, it looks a horrible surface to play on...but its the same for both sides...

It might be the same pitch for both sides but it depends how you play it, Accrington looked the part when they launched it (which was 75% of the time) over the top.
Town always seem to look s**te when they play that way, today was no exeption, but trying to pass the ball to feet today was always going to be dodgy and like most teams Town like to play percentage football.

pitch was no worse than last week whatsoever. it doesnt suit us though as some town players HOOF it up without warning, playing into 'Stanleys game plan.
ffs play it on the deck!

Blaming the pitch is a poro excuse. It might make a difference if we were a team who played neat, attractive passing football - but we don't!
The conditions were the same for both teams, no excuse whatsoever

I'm sure we have all seen the Gay Meadow pitch in a worse state than that.

It is the one comment Managers make which really annoy's me. He's publically giving the players an excuse, so no wonder they don't give it 100% in every game
