4-3-3 with no pace doesn't work (1st half)
4-3-3 with Cramb in the middle looked better
4-4-2 with Banim and Darby looked a bit poor, because we had no width
when it was 4-3-3 we played it down the wings
when it was 4-4-2 we played it over the top
just what is going on with our tactics up front?
For a striker of international quality Quinn has proved him to be utterly clueless witht he strikers so far, he's brought in the decent players, I've no problems with Cramb, Banim or Darby, but they've got to a find a decent system and stick to it.
1) Quinn should not have started 2) Where does Rodgers fit in? 3) Why can't we give them some decent service?

Clueless.
I do think Glenn Tolley on for the last 20 minutes would have been a better option if the management really wanted to get 3 points. At the very least it would have meant someone on the same wavelength as Dave Edwards who again did himself no harm today. At the moment we only have Sam carrying the ball into dangerous areas.
I think Darby will come through - there are gradual signs of improvement there. I haven't seen Banim for long enough yet, but on the other hand he hasn't turned my head either.
However the best up front partnership we've had this season is still Cramb and Rodgers.

2 good posts Certainly a fit Rodgers MUST start Although grateful for early goals fromJQ I think enough is enough as far as him playing is concerned he needs to concentrate on managing the team and I agree with Sean when he says "the best up front partnership we've had this season is still Cramb and Rodgers. "

The best partnership is always the one that's not presently playing (if you don't win)

Quinn obviously hasn't a clue what his best XI is or what formation to play them in, until he does the frustrating inconsistency will continue as will the up and down pattern of results
