This formation doesnt work for me Much prefer 4-4-2 which allows sammy to stay out wide more where he causes damage. Only problem is we lack a right winger with ryan out. Any chances of bringing one in!! and one last thing....Quinn PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop picking yourself!!! It was ok when we are short of strikers but picking yourself a head of jody is an absolute joke.

Solution at right wing is Moss, with Sedgemore switching to a side where he can actually kick a ball and make a tackle.

Said the same thing at the match today. Would be interesting to see how he does
I feel the right side of midfield is the most important place to strengthen at the moment. we have a few people who can do a job in the middle but realy need some pace and creativity on the right to take pressure off sam.
Could moss be the answer??

It concerns me that we're still looking for the best formation and best lineup so far into the season, I would expect the manager to know this by now and be we'd be happy with a settled side?

Only problem is we lack a right winger with ryan out. Any chances of bringing one in!! We have Ian Fitzpatrick and Glenn Tolley who can both play wide right but neither has been given sufficient chance to prove themself in that position

Now that Fitzpatrick's (almost) fit, how about trying him on the left and switch Sam to the right?

Agrees with Jeevsy. Ryan Lowe wide right is not the answer. Yes he can put a good ball over, but i can't ever recall him running past the full back for a pass or taking the full back on. He's not strong enough under challenge and gives the ball away/loses possession far to much. Any way, noe i've said that, 4 3 2 1 doesn't work for me with the players we have. It doesn't suit sammy, he needs to be wide, the forwards today in the 1st half appeared to be leaving it to each other so we ended up with vary little movement. Get it back to a 4 4 2, give Glen Tolley a run at right midfield, or even play Fitzpatrick or Ross Stephens on the left and put sam right

With Ian Fitzpatrick not yet fully fit the least disruptive option is to play Glenn Tolley wide right

Glenn Tolley could do a job, I'm sure. He looked fine against Morecambe. He should have come on today when we went 4-4-2 as Street offered absolutely nothing.
