After virtually going bust, and building a completely new amateur side, last seasons champions now only have 2 points all season and are bottom of the table. They are now complaining about the standards in the Welsh Premier, and threatening to join the English pyramid.

It was only a matter of time, this national league malarky was rubbish, you could see this coming 10 years ago.
I don't know the answer, I guess only a british league will solve the issues!

Best place to watch ex-Town players is the Welsh League.
In the last season I've seen throb, Nicky Ward, Pete Wilding, Roger Preece (managing), Chris Courtney and last night saw Mark Williams (former striker) playing for Porthmadog - he was at Welshpool for a while.

Me and |Whitters made a pilgramage last year to watch Cefn Druids play at home to TNS. Ah Throb Throb Throb you are still a true God. Can't remember to much about the game because we were both only watching the former Shrewsbury legend who set up Nicky Ward for the Town goal with a truly sublime bit of skill. Ok maybe that was a surprise!! Only gutted we didn't draw Hednesford in the cup so we could watch him play again!!! Ah Throb
