Yes worrying but at least it is proven this season that we can score goals and win games without him. Sounds like it's best to not rush him back- fit and in form, he could make all the difference in a couple of weeks.

Let the club throw him back into the fray only when they are 100% sure he isn't going to breakdown or be restricted.
In the meantime his mental health may be of concern. He should thank his lucky stars he's not in the same state as faginy.

Teletext said that Crewe had a few striker problems injuries etc but Dario had no targets in mind - looks like Lukes here to stay- lets hope so.

Agreed he shouldn't be rushed back.
A fully fit Luke Rodgers would be a massive asset to us if we are in the hunt for promotion come the end of the season.

So much for the conspiracy theories in the last 3 months! Hopefully it's clear to those that did go on about it in such terms that he really is injured, has been carrying it for probably most of the season, and it's likely he was being protected to some degree. Make sure you do everything you are told and get your fitness back soon Lukey.

Conspiracy theories are born out of anxiety, don't you think? We've had so many knocks and hurtful experiences. Like you say, I hope he's back- and fighting fit, soon. Can you help but love him? He works so hard and is such a little fighter.

That's an interesting comment - is the Club concerned about its coverage in the Star - if so why are stories breaking there before the official website?
Sorry fagin - I meant physical state rather than mental - unless you know different of course.
;D

It would have been interesting to see how he would have done with a full season in the conference.
My money was on 30 goals to be honest

Wasn't Mr Rodgers at the NBH on Tuesday night? Could have put money on it being him i saw walking into the main entrance after getting out of a BMW with that Shakey bloke(bloody looked like him to) So if it was then there is plenty of truth in the rumour that Rodgers is a Lillywhite then ;D
