Trying to work out when I can next get to a match. I'm on grandchild-watch on the 7th Feb- but that means I've got to drag a reluctant 14-yr-old, Matt, with me- along with new Shrews fans Leah & Alexander. (Matt is an egg-chaser at his school- and really more in to the Warhammer shop at Shrewsbury, than Football.) The only other possible is the 21st- Scarborough game. (Mr W and I are going to Scotland on the 14th- how romantic is that?!! ) Which is likely to be the most interesting game (even if it means bribing Matt?)

No- I wasn't being sarcastic about Scotland, believe me! I love it- we've got quite a few friends there. We've been most places in Scotland but only visited Loch Lomond once. No-one's advised me yet- Woking or Scarborough? Which one is likely to be the most interesting? (I've got to take a Saturday off work to look after the kids. 14th-21st is half- term holiday.) Scarborough will be high after their success, I should imagine. I think I may BRIBE the oldest one- 90 minutes at Gay Meadow- and off to the Warhammer shop and tea at McDonald's. (A Mac-Cardboard and a few Mac- matchsticks!!) Or I could tell him we've got two Hobbits playing for us!!

I don't know, actually. The last time I went with Matt- he only went for a box of Orcs (or is it Awks?) or whatever they are- and some paint. He didn't stop. That could be an idea if they let them stay. Drop him off and collect him on the way back!(I wouldn't dare, actually. I'm paranoic about keeping tabs on the kids when their parents are away!) I have a feeling that if he came to a game with us- he might find he enjoys it.
