They say that men who start losing their hair early are more masculine- it's all that testosterone!!! Mr Wiganshrew started losing his hair quite early. (He was a very "pretty" little boy- with blonde curly hair!)Even on our wedding pictures it's receding. I can honestly say that yes, he IS a very masculine type- dominant yet protective. (But when he gets narky about other drivers- ALL of whom are vastly inferior to him, in his estimation- I tend to complain about his excess testosterone!!) They say today's women don't go for the he-man type- they prefer "prettier" men. Is that true, do you think?

It's actually more to do with testosterone not matching wit the rest of the hormones in the body. I'm pretty sure my hair has started to receed (ant'll tell you otherwise!) but both my dad and grandad still have full sets of hair

The main thing with having hair is to not give a toss what others say, for example for you sulk cos your losing hair because others are taking the p**s so what? its not as if your alone and if your hair is receding stress can make it worse! People like Elton John, Bruce Forsyth make me laugh with their hair pieces and their hair transplants, being bold has hardly hurt the likes of Ross Kemp or Richard Wilson any harm has it?

It depends how you feel in yourself, I've got a massive forehead so having no hair would look terrible

You're spot on about balding V hairpieces. Hairpieces are horrible. Remember Kojak? Bald as a coot and women loved him! It is fashionable these days. I tend to think looks matter far less with fellas. I know that's not very P.C- but it's true. Age matters less with fellas, too. (That's nature- the fertility thing, sadly. ) But give Mr Wiggy his due- he never criticises my looks- (although I don't like- and never have liked- the way I look.) BUT- he does tell me to lose weight; he liked me when I was a little slim thing.

I've noticed ive started to receed and one or two fleks of grey are showing and im 23. Noticed it afew weeks ago cos ive been trying to grow my hair but it always ends up as a wavy disheveled wreck, as its normally shaved. so since i noticed that problem its gone back to the previous state(Low maintenace job) . So theres only one thing to blame i reckon watching Salop, for pretty much of the time im quite relaxed but when im watching Salop the old anxiety levels go into over-drive
