Thought you meant Bavo for a while there Seriously though all the best to a very good keeper (not in my opinion a great one!)

End of an era.
He'll unfortunately be remembered for some of his mistakes, but as he played over 1000 games, he's bound to have made errors.

>>>May have had his faults but still a world class keeper<<<
Yes his biggest fault was that pony tail.
Good consistant keeper at club level, i still admire him for that save he made on the line in the fa cup semi final a couple of seasons ago against sheff united. however it seems that every half decent player that signs for Man city, turns into a nightmare and ruins there career ie Fowler,Anelka,Mcmanaman (spelling) Seaman

And players that come to us from Man City do well - Ken Mulhearn, Alf Wood etc.
HarmerHill - have you got the Barcelona concert DVD? I had to get it as I missed Bruce here last year as I had foolishly booked a holiday.

That save against Sheffield United was in the FA Cup semi last season only a few months ago and he made a couple of great saves in the final, he'll wish he'd quit straight after now...

Unfortunatley he didn't have to make any world class saves when he played against us for the Arse in that FA Cup match despite Dean Spink's best effort from 2 m out <still can't forget that!>

I'm sure you're delighted to be proved right then Being serious I think Wales COULD edge it at the Millenium Stadium (Im going for a 2-1 Wales win) but we will get absolutely mullered in the away leg

Anyone else remember seeing David Seaman play for Leeds United's Youth Team at The Meadow back in the early 80's?

Yes Leeds won 3-0 didnt they. We beat Villa 3-1 in the previous round, McNally scored a lob from 35 yards....classic goal.
