A golfing friend of mine is having a Golf charity day at Llanymynech Golf Club on Friday 30th of April.
I was wondering if 3 Blue and Amber users would like to join me in making up a team.
The cost is £25 each(meal included) and all money raised goes to the Shropshire and Mid Wales Hospice.
I will point out that it is the day after the first leg of the playoffs.
Anyone interested post on this thread or send a message.

Llanymynech is a fantastic course, great scenery (you can see my house) ;D , I've been a junior member for a few years. It must have some of the best views for a golf course for a long way i'd say.

Llany is one of my favourite golf courses, you can't beat it - especially when the wind picks up!
I amy be interested in that, need to check if I have exams that week or not though. I'll get back to you as soon as possible
£25 is a good price as well for a day out including a meal!

Great stuff. Fantastic responce. If anyone else is interested just say, as there is plenty of room at the moment. We (B&A) could put another team forward. Lots of prizes too. Should have said 3/4s handicaps, so a bit of inflation wont go amiss Need confirmation and payment by Feb 18th. Tee off between 10am and 1.30pm. Once again Thanks

Thanks to everyone who has shown an interest in this event. What I need now is positive commitment. You can imagine it is quite an event to organise and my friend has the 1st tee from 10am to 1.30pm. He is putting a fourball out every 15 mins and wants to get maximum return from the opportunity of having the course. As captain of one fourball I have pledged him a cheque of £100 which I have to pay by February 18th. So if you can reply on this thread over the next few days if you can make that positive commitment I will get back to you on the message service on this board and we can get the Blue and Amber team entered. For those of you not familiar with Llanynynech Golf Club follow this link to an excellent site. www.btinternet.com/~steve.gauge/By the way the course record held by Wossie includes a SIX, shame on you Ian.
