looking at the fixtures that clash with cup dates a run to the semis would mean having to re arrange games v telford, barnet, hereford & exeter
add chester & stevenage to the run in
tough or what ?

We could always do an arrogant 'big club' and put out the youth team in later rounds - that should certainly annoy them on confguide. ;D
You're right though, when you look at it like that, it does look a bit tricky - we might not have much choice but to let Nev Thompson and co. have their chance to impress.

I would love a cup run -
Is the final at Villa Park or something ?

I think that's exactly what we should be doing - giving Nev & co their chance. They earned it against Morecombe.

It's got to be a concern that the Trophy could affect our league form, especially trying to fit in all those rearranged fixtures but a cup run is important to the club financially.
Also, a good run in the cup can really boost a teams confidence. Maybe winning the trophy could give us that little bit extra we are needing in the league. (Plus I had a small wager on us yesterday at 13/2!)

We've got to be favourites for the FAT cup now with Chester & Herefore out, Barnet and Aldershot tricky away games. When Arsenal win the FA Cup it doesn't seem to affect their league form does it?

Winning is a good habit to get into, a good run in the cup won't do our league chances any harm at all
Remember 1978/9

Well, we can certainly take the next round seriously, since it's already pencilled into our timetable, but I must admit I'm a little worried about what might happend if we get to the final stages.
The fixture pile-up last year certainly didn't help us.
