Anybody got any idea when tufc are going to announce the ticket arrangements ? It's probably a bit premature but certain questions need to be answered:
1. Is it going to be all- ticket?
2. If so, what is likely to be our allocation? they are only giving Millwall something like 1400. If it's going to be the same for us it'll be chaos!!

Good post.
I will ask at the ticketing meeting tomorrow to see if STFC have any idea what might be planned.
Cheers

if they gave us 1400, then they'd probably have about 1600+ town fans in the home end!

Realistically,
We'll get around 1700 tickets I think, including around 150 seats if I remember correctly what has been posted on the board.
I'd imagine the ticketing arrangements for Salop fans will be similar to those for the Tamworth game although this will undoubtedly be discussed at the ticketing meeting tomorrow night
As for Telford they have an un-thankable task of trying to ensure Salop fans don't get tickets for the home areas.
This is not an envious task.

no reason at all why they cant give us the away terrace behind the goal & the little terrace down the side.
that way everyones happy!

You will probably get the away terrace plus 150 seats, which is around 1600. And to prevent a possible overspill into the home end, i think you may get an extra few hundred on the uncovered terrace

it may be a bit dodgy giving us some of the side with no roof. i'd say they'd give us all of it or non of it.

Its not going to be easy to segregate that uncovered terrace and I don't think it's realistic to open it all up to visiting supporters, regardless of how many they many bring etc.
To hand over more than half of your terracing as well as some seats to opponents is an accident waiting to happen. Its fine when you are at places like Northwich when there are relatively few home fans in what was a low-risk encounter.
To have roughly even numbers of home and away fans in a potential tinder-box scenario between local rivals, would be plain daft I think. This is a shame for Shrews fans that want to go to the match. However, I imagine that safety will come first.

Well, you could re-locate the fixture to the Moulinex, then your Home following won't need to travel, and you could accomodate all the Shrews ;D
May still need the home end though ;D ;D
Of course I'm F***in joking, what do you think I am, INSANE???
