Bristol Rovers have 'Goodnight Irene', Stoke have 'Delilah', Crewe have 'Blue moon'...what about the Town? I do like a bit of 'Catch us if you can' and do enjoy singin along with the 'Mmmmmm' bits but singing that at the 'Gay' Meadow? It's asking for trouble int it? Anyone have any suggestions? Any recommendations? Once you get one in yer head just head to the Meadow p**sed as a fart and get yerself a singin on the Riverside...I'm more than sure the rest will join in once they pick up the words...
Got to be simple int it so we can pick it up but then something to get yer singing. What about a bit a Bing and 'Don't fence me in'...rather apt for our current ground predicament!! ;D

How about man don't give a f**k by SFA ( suggested by Mr Whit a few moons ago as our run out music). it would seem appropriate to some of our players currently

The only song I've ever crowdsurfed to.
If we do choose that, watch out Wakeman stand!

Anything by Spinal Tap maybe, or "You Love Us" by MSP self-mocking our so called arrogance, chrorus is pretty easy to learn just repeat shouting You Love Us. And also Manics are Welsh and Shrewsbury get accused of being Welsh(Which is nothing to be ashamed of after my grand-parents all my ancestors come from the land of my fathers), P.S.My only attempt at crowd-surfing was during a Queens of the stone age set at Reading festival a couple of years where i landed flat on my stomach in a pile of rain, mud and discarded food and some bloke of considerable body mass accidently slipped on top of me, from that point on i retired from crowd surfing after my 1 failed attempt

why don't we have ' Don't Bring Me Down ' or ' Wishing ' by ELO
poignant but can you remember the words ? some oldies like pilch might . i'm sure he's still got his complete Cliff Richard collection . but i'm pretty sure it's still worth more than rioch !

Sha la la lala lalala Sha la la lala lalala Sha la la lala lalala
When the day is dawningon a Texas Sunday morning how I long to be there with Marie who's waiting for me there every lonely city where I hang my hat ain't as half as pretty as where my baby's at
Is this the way to Amarillo every night I've been hugging my pillow dreaming dreams of Amarilloand sweet Marie who waits for me show me the way to Amarillo I've been weeping like a willow crying over Amarillo and sweet Marie who waits for me
Sha la la lala lalala Sha la la lala lalala Sha la la lala lalala and Marie who waits for me
There's a church bell ringing hear the song of joy that it's singing for the sweet Mariaand the guy who's coming to see her just beyong the highway, there's an open plain and it keeps me going through the wind and rain
Is this the way to Amarillo every night I've been hugging my pillow dreaming dreams of Amarilloand sweet Marie who waits for me show me the way to Amarillo I've been weeping like a willow crying over Amarillo and sweet Marie who waits for me

Oh I dunno. Tony Monopoly - he was naff. I could get tired of that song very quickly.
I always think its quite good when the Riverside sing (or sang) "I can't help falling in love with you". I know its not uniquely ours but it has the same pace as Delilah.
A similar song is "please release me let me go".
If you can imagine Vic Reeves singing it then its an anthem
