I think so, but be prepared to spend quite a while mastering some of the more advanced controls.

I've got it on the PS2
The buggers defend well, even when you're Arsenal and they're bloody Boston!!
4-1 is the biggest win I've had. I'm obviously missing a trick!!

I'm still plugging away at CM 03/04. Got sacked in my first season, even though the board promised I had another game to turn it around (The season was over, I had no more games to play, so they chucked me anyway), and then..... Telford got promoted in the playoffs.
Held premiership stoke up to a 90th minute 1-0 loss in a pre-season, dicked Stevenage 3-0 for starters in the Conf, then proceeded to begin a HOOJ losing streak again. Always seems that even if I go 2-0 up in the 80th minute, they always come back level or beat me in the post-90's.

Set your team's mentality to attacking and try a 4-3-1-2 formation. My best result so far with that has been murdering Orient 8-0 with Doncaster on the hardest setting. At the same time though, it leaves you VERY vulnerable at the back, so be prepared to lose some incredibly frustrating goals on the break.

Yeah, that's one of the control problems I was alluding to - my joypad seems a couple of buttons short (I can't make my keeper come out, which is one of the reasons the comp always scores on the break ), and if there's an in game menu to re-configure it then I haven't found it. Unless you can be bothered to learn to use the keyboard (incredibly difficult), you might just have to suffer in silence, I'm afraid. It shouldn't hinder you THAT much - I've still managed to take Notts County to Champions' League glory in career mode without a couple of the more advanced controls. ;D The 'Off the ball' thing is over-rated anyway, btw - it's dead difficult, and requires ytou to completely re-position your hands to use about 3 different controls at once for a very minimal increase in attacking potential. More often than not you're tackled by the time you work out what it is you're supposed to be doing.

Unfortunately, I've recently been exiled up in the Notts area, and when the Town aren't playing I go along to Meadow Lane or the City Ground.
I've decided I prefer County, for some reason - maybe years of being a Town fan has turned me into someone unable to cope with a half-decent team - so since Shrewsbury aren't in the game, it had to be County.

Get down the wings (choose wing play) and hit in full power crosses to go just past the keeper, and then either head for goal, or knock it back to your strikers.
Always a decent plan.

Liam I have sent you a message of how you may be able to make your pc and the game think you have a different joypad.

Cheers. And yeah, that's good advice about wingplay - if you can work it to the byline, you should have the comp in all sorts of trouble.
