Hmmm. Not sure I agree. Good luck to him and I hope he proves to be a sensation but I fear he is too one-footed, not all that skilful, and, from what I have seen in the reserves, not a natural goalscorer.
I think Edwards, Glenn Tolley and Stephens are all better prospects from the current crop.

Haven't really seen much of him before, but I thought his turn to beat two defenders on the right near the end showed a great deal of potential. Looked comfortable on the ball.

have to say in the few minutes today and the few minutes he got earlier in the season (morecambe away i think!!) he has looked okay.
Have to say he is more of a trier!! i.e gonna give 100% all the time but not exactly blessed with talent!!
Good luck to him and hope he gets more chances to show us what he can do!! ;D ;D

I find it amusing that you talk about him being purely right footed,
was it just me or did anyone else see owd Nev hitting cross field balls with his left foot during the half time kick about?

he reminds me of marlon harewood
he was all strength and no control for two years
then he grew into his game and was very good
then forest got nearly a million for him
I do hope our Nev is more harewood that White int he next two years!

That turn was quality, but it was then followed with Kevin Francis type technique, with his body wanting to go one way and both his legs going all over the place the poor lad ended up on his arse. Having said that, he's a hell of a lot better than most if not all of us (except for Pilch , and he'll surely only get better as he gets older.

Where have I said he is right-footed? I say one-footed above, meaning his left! If I said right on another thread that's a mistake! But hey, I'm not trying to be his number one critic or owt, hope he does well. Just said I don't think he's the best prospect we have got.

Im jumping on the this kid is going to be very good bandwagon. But only is Quinny grows up and STOPS PLAYING - there was no reasosn that nev could not have had a half - how are young players goign to learn if they dont play. - Lets be honest they all impressed to a certain extent yesterday but does any think that quinny is going to give them the chances - I see no evidence of this and in fact - I reckon he will drop stevo and put gregor back in next week - I wait to be proved wrong

sometimes what i type and what i'm thinking are too entirely different things!!! I know what I meant, that's the important thing ;D
There was one example when Nev did well in the box to get in a good position but could only get a sight of goal on his right foot, he faffed around trying to spin onto his left and lost it. That's the sort of thing I meant. I fear for his chances of getting a pro contract as we already have six strikers at the club. Not sure Qinn would want to use up a chunk of his budget on a seventh...
