yes just what is a conf ground?, and Telford are the giant killers, beating a team 3 leagues up away from home is no mean feat as STFC were last season, seems this young man is ill-infomed

He does seem a little naive but don't you just love it when someone "stirs the pot" Over to you Bally.

Yes, a bit of a misinformed statement from the young lad.
I imagine the SS spoke to the fellow and didn't just take it at face value? Seems to be most likely another fan trying to provoke a response rather than a genuine effort?
The link seems to have been removed for it now (off the SS website that is).

It was printed purely and simply to get a reaction. Journalists love nothing more than getting the public to fill their pages for them. ;D NOTE: The last comment was added purely and simply to get a reaction from Chris H.

And I wouldn't want to disappoint you Ian!!! Was amused reading it myself. But you can't expect us not to print a letter because the views expressed are mad to a lot of people. Where do you draw the line? Anyone's views views are valid for a letters column as long as they are not offensive or libellous. Anyway, don't care what you say now IRJBA, that's the last you'll hear from me on this thread. Probably..............

Anyone's views views are valid for a letters column as long as they are not offensive or libellous. Chris, some of the stuff written by SARA and printed in the Star letters page in the last couple of years has at best been downright lies and at worst libellous!

To be honest it is one of the funniest letters that has been printed for a while just because it is so stupid.I think we may see a reply from Telford's doombrain Mr Sheridan either tomorrow or on Monday.

To be honest it could be perceived as a bit , in fact i am quite looking forward to the replies from Telford fans. I reckon Bowya won't be able to resist replying especially after quoting that Telfords cup run to date is a bigger achievement than Town last year.

Had to laugh.
Wait for the backlash,
something along the lines of "our ground doesnt flood and look like a rotting allotment."
;D You read it here first.

didnt realise Rollo Sheridan was so well known. I work at the same company and he still wears his TUFC scarf with pride.
