2nd trip to the Millenium and a fair old journey. But would have expected more like 10,000.

3rd trip in 14 months I think so a lot of their fairweather fans won't be interested in another trip to Cardiff. And they have lost their 2 other appearances too so I don't think hope is high with too many of them.

have spoken to dave down there avbout it and it'[s down to cost, most tickets about £48.. football league wouldn't budge on prices so the stadiums going to be empty

What sort of an area is Southend? Is it a fairly poor area- and people couldn't afford £48?
I presume a lot more Lincoln supporters are going. Which may have implications for the outcome of the game?
Who do you think will win?

There was only 7,032 at Lincolns home leg of the play-off final.

It wasn't just the ticket prices it was travel costs as well. Cheapest train journey was £56 and you were looking at £50 if you went by car. I went today with a bloke from work. Outside the ground bumped into Sib, HerefordShrew and a few others. Joked with my mate we almost outnumbered the Sarfend fans
