I'm going to The Princess Royal Hospital on Wednesday.
My old Auntie needs someone to go with her for her check up because my cousins, one of whom usually takes her, as they live nearer, are both away on holiday.
I'm going to stay for 3 days, and going to the hospital on Wednesday.
I'll come back exhausted because she's lovely, and very brave, but fusses and mithers about things even I, as a habitual worrier, wouldn't bother about!!!!
It's unlikely that our paths will cross. It's a big place- and you might be off duty, anyway! I've been before- to visit when she had a heart attack about two years ago.
I was very impressed with the hospital. You probably get your share of complaints as hospitals do, but I thought the staff were great.

Hi Wiggy. Yeh im working a late on the wednesday so will be there from about midday (but dont start shift till 1.30 ) The health service is run by humans, so their will always be mistakes made, but the staff work very hard to do the right thing and do the job well. Its great to hear positive feedback, cos all the press are interested in is whats not going well. That is very unfair, because the vast majority of the time things are very successfull.

You're right- the press just hone in on anything negative.
My Auntie was very pleased about the treatment she received, and also said that she thought the wards were very clean.
And let's put it this way- she wouldn't still be here with us if it hadn't been for The Princess Royal and its staff.
