Have you been?
If not which would you have wanted to go to?
I went to the 1990 Man Utd 3 Palace 3 game.
Thoroughly entertaining final to have been too and little did I know that day that I was completing an unusual four bagger.....of two players and two managers for Reading...
Neil Webb playing for Man U (ex-Reading) Alan Pardew playing for Palace Steve Coppell manager of Palace John Salako (to play for Reading in the future)

I went to the 1988 final - Wimbledon v Liverpool. Significant for lots of reasons but a pretty dire game with very few chances for either side, mainly because the Dons killed the game and Liverpool were unable to combat their tactics.

The only FA Cup final I ever bet on....... Winbledon to win at 7/2 with Sanchez to score the first goal at 50/1 ;D Wish I'd staked more than my 50p though! I walked into the bookies and Sanchez 50/1 was flashing on their screen. Well you have to back your old boys when offered odds like that!

I have been to 3 FA Cup finals
1972 Arsenal v Leeds 1975 Fulham V West Ham 1983(?) Manure v Brighton replay.
The last one I saw both Scottish and English Cups presented as I went to the Aberdeen v Rangers game on the Saturday. Shame Town didn't reach the Welsh Cup Final as I would have doen the treble then

Went to the 1981 Final Spurs v Man City with my brother (who obtained the tickets courtesy of his local referss's society) 1-1. Ossie Ardilas and Ricky Vilas were playing in those days for Spurs. Spurs won the replay 3-2 with I think two goals from Vilas (couldn't get tickets for the replay ).

I can't log in Went to Leeds v Chelsea in 1970 - first draw for over 50 years , good game but no cup presentation Saw Arsenal win the double in 1971 - amazing atmosphere - Wembley was literally bouncing Saw Arsenal beat Chelsea a couple of years ago - only visit to the Milennium stadium - impressed does not do it justice

Never been to the FA cup final (managed a couple of Charity Shields though). One of the best experiences I had though was an Old Firm game ay Ibrox. My mate got two tickets and we went up in the Rangers end, Celtic won 3 - 0 what an atmosphere, it was electric.

Went to Sheff Weds V Arsenal 1993. Great atmosphere. Went as a neutral sitting with Arsenal supporters. good bunch of lads. It went to a bloody replay though so had to watch that on telly. Glad I went thoughas it was a good experience.

I've never been to a FA Cup final but used to avidly watch the game, with all the build-up with my dad. He died in 1981 not long after the cup final and my interest has waned, not only because of that but because its only the live game experience that is of an real interest to me today.
My dad, as a little boy went to an FA Cup quarter final in the 30s at Maine Road between Stoke and Manchester City - Its the game that was the ground's record gate - in excess of 80,000 - unimagineable
I envy anyone who saw the 1970 final live. Two hard teams and the Chelsea team of time was quite a young one as I recall.

Never been to one but would have liked to have gone to the 87 cup final, Coventry 3-2 Spurs.

FA Cup finals are over rated now after yet another poor final, only the play offs seem worth watching these days.

Poor? I thought it was a good game. It would have been if there were more shots on target, the second half and extra time were quite open but I just got the idea that a goal was never going to be scored.
