No news on a half season ticket? there isn't one and there won't be one. Certainly during sales of normal season tickets there won't be one. There is a ticketing group meeting on Thursday 24th at which the whole issue will be raised again, but basically the club don't like the idea and have said no for the last two seasons

Do you think its a good idea? I think there are so many people out there who know they could attend 12 games but no more, in which case it would be perfect! It has been an agenda item on just about every ticketing group meeting I have been to there are one or two administrative headaches in doing it, but I can see very good benefits The causes of concern for the club are they don't want anything to erode the benefits of holding a season ticket. It is the all or nothing approach that forces people to get an S/T even when it does not make economic sense One thing I would like to see is a "party ticket" where you get a discount for bringing say 10 people to a single game with a mention in the programme for what party it is, that has potential i reckon

I would never buy a season ticket as most seasons I would lose out considerably. Now a half season ticket where I could go to any 11/12 games I would be VERY interested in.
Don't see why it can't be done - there could be certain games (Cup, High Profile, etc) that could be excluded, stated either at start of season or at a later date .
Maybe worth seeing how many would be interested and pushing the cl;ub harder. Might involve a bit more work by the staff but, hey, all businesses have to go a bit further to get the extra money.

£1 increase seems fair to me, especially since the club have held prices down for a while, and we are (were?) one of the cheapest in the division. I'm sure there will be those that still moan though...

Ticket prices are fair and the season tickets are a good deal too. The main improvement I would like to see the Ticketing Group work with the club on would be the improvement of management information available to base decisions on. i.e. for 2 early season games, produce a list of: * How many adults, concessions and kids paid to get into each area of the ground * How many season tickets were used * How many concession tickets were used This would then make any plans for the New Meadow able to be costed, and targets etc. produced for gate revenue. Maybe this already happens internally, I don't know.

What balance do you need to have in the West Brom Blue&Amber account to qualify for the 4% discount on season tickets?

The £1 increase seems fair. I too though would like a half-season ticket, as I'm sure would other exiles. A full season ticket is just not worth it for me.

1st increase for a while. To be used to help fund the summer team bulding by GP. Thats fair enough to me. If it was all going on that, could have out them up £2, wouldnt have heard me complaining.

A nugget increase seems reasonable. I was expecting two to be honest even though i wouldnt have been happy with that.
Well done STFC.

presumably though for most of us it means finding the extra £1 from somewhere.... ....so fanzine sales could take a hit.

I note one tatty arsed bunch of conference play off bottlers are charging 10 quid admission to the terraces next season, which increases to 11 quid for games when they are in the top five All part of a master plan to try not to finish 2nd again I reckon

My Riverside season ticket is up from £188.70 to £212.16 (12.4%) because the discount for having a B&A savings account has been reduced from 7.5% to 4%. Still worth it tho'
