I didn't want them to. I didn't like their attitude when we went down. I didn't want them to do what WE did-- and bounce back after just a season- because, when WE did it - we were the first to do it for 14 years, wasn't it? I know that's a really petty reason- but it was something we could be proud of, being so unique!! The ONLY advantage I can see is that it will be VERY easy for me to get to. Through journey- west coast mainline from Wigan, no changes. That's all, though. I'd have preferred Stevenage to have gone up.

carlisle will probably bring 10 times the amount of fans that stevenage would've. every fan who believes that we need a new ground to survive will be pleased to see the return of this bumper pay day. .....and retreat to a safe distance.

Good point. Although I dislike Hereford I was thinking that their 2,000 away fans would bring a nice £25,000 to the club wheras the Shots or Stevenage would bring £5,000 max.
At least Carlisle should bring a few hundred (or a couple of thousand if it's near to the end of the season when they need the points to stay up!).

Totally agree...Westley is the most irritating Git I have ever seen...Mr 'I'm so brilliant'. There are one or two stevenage Players who p*ss me off..Elding and that ex Chester tw*t.

I am quite happy that Carlisle got back up
After the grief we got when we got relegated form conference clubs we stuck two fingers up at them and came back up.
Carlisle got all the same accusations of arrogance etc etc and they too got promoted at the first attempt
That kind of makes me smug

I wanted Hereford to go up out of all the play off teams, Stevenage were the least team I wanted to go up purely because I didnt particularly enjoy my last visit to their town or their stadium, albeit modern, just seemed bland and boring, I guess the scoreline that day didnt help either At least Carlisle is a half decent day out, there are some decent pubs in the city centre and I've been in the Beehive plenty of times without any problems or aggro from the home support, the only ones that cause any problems are a element of kids/youths/chavs that like to stare at the away support throughout the game but its not just Carlisle who have them.

Dislike them.
the only good thing is the money aspect of their away fans.
