why dont you all get alife get behind your players at the end of the day you can slate all you like but we arent profeesional footballers. Whilst they are at our club why dont you get behind them because one day you slag them off but the next they score the winner and you love them. e.e. sheron at cheltenham everyone slags him off he then scores and he is loved. every player that pulls on a town shirt has my respect as thy are here to do a job, represent our club and play there hearts out which darby lowe etc did/do. So get behind the team because i bet none of you are capable of playing for town. Who's slagging Darby off?

Forget stats, just look at him play (if you are lucky enough to get a match when he's not injured). He's too slow and what is more, he is lacking in vision and passing ability. If he spent more time trying to play football and less time trying to bully the opponents he might actually score some goals, or would have at least set some up for Luke. When people slag off players for being injured it's not personal. We don't have that many strikers and Darby as centre forward would have been a crucial player had he been fit and at his best. Ben Smith, however, is one of many midfielders and there were plenty more people to fill in. That's why people are slagging off Darby - when we needed him most, he was not there.

No-one has said that Duane Darby is not a decent bloke.
No-one has said that Duane Darby hasn't, in his time, been an effective goalscorer at lower league level.
But no-one can argue that as value for money Duane Darby has not been a successful signing for Shrewsbury Town.
He got the equaliser at the Britannia - and for that all of us will be forever grateful.
But I'm afraid that one goal - however important it was - doesn't make him a "hit".
He's past his best. And in all fairness his "best" was a fair few seasons ago now.
He looks laboured. He looks as much of a goal threat as me nan. His snarling all action performances have gone.
He is not the man to get the goals we need to either stay up or go up.
Thanks Duane, for the goal at Stoke, for about 10 good performances and for being nice to JP...
...but I'm afraid that's not enough.
Cheerio, please!
