Does Crewe staying up make it more or less lukely they will sign Luke?
Staying in the Championship probably means they have a bit more money to spare, but does Gradi think that Rodgers is good enough to play in the Championship?
I think they would have signed him if they had got relegated, not so sure now.

Judging by what the Crewe fans are saying, I doubt Gradi will be in charge next season. he will probably be moved upstairs or moved towards spending more time with the youth set up. I doubt he will get much input into which players Crewe sign.

Am I the only one who thinks Luke at this stage of his career is not capable ofplaying in a higher division Yes our style of play doesnt suit him and will probably suit him less next season so he may need to leave but the Luke of 3 years ago doesnt exist any more and nothing can disguise the fact he has lost his greatest asset -his speed

He was on Radio5 yesterday morning saying he fully expected to be in charge next season even if they went down.

He's hardly going to say he thinks he's going to be sacked though is he? Try the Crewe rivals board. It seems every one of them want him out and in the end fans tend to get what they want.

We'll see. I'll be amazed if he is not in charge next season.

Anyone outside of Crewe would also be surprised, but a large number of Alex fans have ideas above their station. With their crowds and income they will always be a selling club and will never ever be able to compete fanancially with the majority of Championship teams. And let's face it, on the whole money talks.
