Is it me, Or does he look abit ... weak?
For a man of his height he should be hurling strikers to the floor with ease.
During pre-season do whatever it takes to make sure he bulks up- Assign him a special "Hamburger and Milkshake" diet, that should work.

give him a chance he has made the jump from canvey island to town and i think he has done very well. with a good pre season under his belt and time to work on his fitness i think he could be a great signing.
by the way he made a world class tackle to dent scunny today

He, and the entire back five, had good games today and restricted Sc***horpe to very little in the way of chances. He's got a lot better in just the handful of games he's played so far and i'm sure he'll be very good once he's played 25/30 games and is properly settled in.

Yes its just you, stop being negative Geoff, Cowan had his best game in a Town shirt today, he will be here next season, today he played intelligent balls from the back and when under pressure with continuous high balls pumped at him he headed and defended with intelligence

I never questioned his footballing ability Duncan...
I just pointed out that perhaps he could improve his physical game?

He's done very well since coming into the team. I'm sure GP didn't expect, or want, to have to blood him so early.
Looks like someone with a good Salop future ahead.

exactly that is what, the 4th league game in his life and he is only 23? I think we need to cut him a bit of slack, wait for him to have decent pre season and then make judgement

I never questioned his footballing ability Duncan... I just pointed out that perhaps he could improve his physical game? I see where your coming from youngen just because he doesnt grab and wrestle attackers to the floor doesnt mean hes not physical you dont see him getting pushed around or brushed off, and in the first half he made the tackle of the match , when he chased back a defensive error and when the scunny player skipped around Hart to put the ball into the empty net he slid in to tackle and win the ball and hook it away.
