We have a few stars in the making after what I have seen, I am going to mention one of them. A left winger who makes things happen, who crosses a ball, who has efforts on goal, who scores a goal... Step forward Stephen Leslie

Congratulations to the lads. It certainly looks as if we can be optimistic about our future. The thing is- with up and coming talent and a potentially brighter future, let's hope things progress with the new stadium. We all need to do our bit to see things progress, somehow, even if it's just making our voices heard and doing our bit of PR for STFC. When shrewstrust is really up and running, I reckon STFC will have a higher profile, with implications for more support and money through the turnstiles. And success brings even more success. Now we've survived- I'm feeling a lot more optimistic about next season, somehow!

Leslie looked a decent player. didnt think our central midfield did much in the first half. When we got the ball down and tried to play we looked really good. Their number 8 would have been an asset to our midfield.
Our left back (dan griffiths) was superb. a real good prospect if thats the level he plays at.

Why have we got small left backs at GM?
Lawrence (ok so he's gone), Challis, Lyng and the lad Griffiths who I also thought was good.

thought griffiths was MOM as well.
he has always been that small, ever since i have known him lol so unless he has a sudden growth spurt its not likely he will ever be much taller

Not bad for a left back whose strongest foot is his right...

Nice to see Geoff Fellows back in the No. 3 shirt The No. 11 had a hell of a shot on him, loved the way the net bulged for his goal No. 9 looked a prospect, he certainly has the physique and was reasonable on the floor. Finally, amazed that over 1000 turned up, I was expecting 2/300 and didn't plan on having to queue to get in!

Was a good game. Egginton looked very good although looked like he was running in sand. Marco's header was excellent - gave the keeper no chance. Leslie also stood out - His and Tolleys corners would go down nicely on Saturday. Agree about their no.8 thought he was very good. Their no.11 was a right arsey lad and did a cracking dive in the first 10 mins in front of the Wakeman Stand when Henry Goh never touched him, which went down well Good to see so many ppl there - shame the wakeman stand was full of gangs of chav kids in their tracksuit bottoms and baseball caps who p**sed around all match.
