Its not looking good is it, what a s**te season for the U's fans...I feel for 'em, I really do... Has a merger with their City neighbours ever been mooted?

i think we have been lucky these last few seasons
the cup run virtually cleared out debts promotion was necessary
exactly where would we had barrow beaten us and barnet beats us on pens
put it this way i think we could have been playing telford this season

Sorry to bang the same old boring drum.
But as far as Camebridge fans knew upuntill 8 months or so ago things werent brilliant, but they certanly werent finacially disaterous.
The board then conviently sannouced to the shareholders that the ground would have to be sold to save Camebridge 4DAYS BEFORE THE AGM, and that this was the only plan of action.
They've shafted the supporters, and the thing is it could happen to us. We are in a stage of great limbo, our chairman, and possibly other members of the board are not far off retireing and we've soprt of sold our ground and have been consistantly about to "immenintly start building the new ground".
Cambridge, like Bury fans before them and wimbledon fans and many others believe(d) they had a decent board only to discover that they';ve been s**t on as the current board are resigning/moving on or just after.
This where shrewsTRUST will hopefully bridge the gap and play an important role in stopping us being shat on

Probably been holding it off for a while until they were down for certain.
Not sure of the rules or deadlines but when will it be that they qualify for a ten point deduction next year in the conference?
If its not for a while then it makes sense to me.

start of next season i think.
However if they are already in admin, and have been docked points from the previous season they may get off???

This is rather convenient on their part. Now relegated they go into admin which would not of been the case had they stayed up. It also makes sure they wont be docked 10 points next season too unless of course they come out and go back in to admin again.
Feel sorry for the fans though

If that is the case it is very convenient. But the rules are there from the start and so is good planning on their part. If only they could have planned better in the past. Good luck to them

Will the Conference accept them?
if it was a team about to be promoted that had financial problems would they say "No, we don't want you". If so they may well say to CU "Bugger Off". unless they have a clear plan to get out of admin before teh start of next season i wouldn't be surprised to see them playing in a lowere league.

I really feel for the supporters.
Supporting a club is such a tribal thing- it's like part of your family.
They must be heartbroken. I hope something turns up for them, I really do.
