I know my Street Cred is going to plummet even further when I admit to listening to radio 4 in the morning BUT-
Tomorrow morning Jarvis Cocker of "Pulp" is on Desert Island Discs.
Friday is a great day. It's my day off, I can have a lie in and listen to Jarvis- should be interesting! I think he's brilliant. I loved Common People and Disco 2000.
So - I'm looking forward to that (Unless Mr Wiggy's got different ideas!!)

shame he's an insular headcase Apparently, that's why he wrote like he does. He said he was an awkward gawky teenager, and they didn't write music for people like that, only the popular guys. Yeah- he's a bit strange but eccentrics often produce very original creative stuff, even though they may not be all that likeable, as people. I'm just going back to bed to listen to him , now!

I think his parents live in Telford as he is often seen down Ironbridge (my mate kept his pint glass, no word of a lie )
