Having been caught speeding a couple of times in the last 3 years I decided to take the plunge and purchase a "Safety Device" (?) I have now had the road angel for 6 months and swear by it, I admit I bought origenally as a way of beating speed cameras but now I find I do stick to the limits and use the angel as a reminder. My point is this I firmly believe this device in my opinion can make people safer on the roads thoughts ?

Depends on the device. If it detects cameras, it's illegal. However, if it is only a map device, with known locations built into it for reference, it's kosher guv. Of course, this means it will only warn you of known fixed cameras/speed check areas, not mobile radar guns. I believe Road Angel is one of the map type.
It would be illegal to advertise it for sale in the UK if it was illegal!

Origin B2 coupled with the LRC Target 100 diffuser is even better.

I find the speedometer an excellent way of ensuring I keep to the speed limit. Not only that, it comes as standard on my car as well
