Take your pick.
As dull an atmosphere as there as been all year at the Meadow. Nobody, home or away was interested in getting the buzz going.
Duller than anything we witnessed last year in the conference in terms of playing ability. Two unmotivated and leaderless teams going through the motions.
Possibly the dullest sporting event i have ever paid to watch. A complete waste of an afternoon.
Shrewsbury Town today missed an opportunity to give us a glimpse of whats to come. Adaggio should have played from the start and Lyng should have played some part.

It was a dull atmosphere because this is the first game for two years where there hasn't been anything at stake. But I thought our football was good and was topped off by an absolutely excellent worked goal from David Edwards. The only criticism I have is that we should have got all three points for the possession we had in their half.

Cheer up you miserable old git Jamo.
I was pleasantly surprised with the entertainment we received today.
The first time for 6 years we have gone into a 3rd from last game of the season with nothing to play for.

Anyone who paid on the gate to watch that yesterday was entitled to ask for a refund in my opinion. I also disagree that we had nothing to play for. Quite a few who appeared yesterday are playing for their future at the club, we also have youngsters that we want to see and look at how they are going to contribute in times to come. Poor show and a missed opportunity ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png)

I thought it was quite an entertaining game.
I guess it's all opinion though - I remember you telling us how you thought the Cambridge game (0-0) was a really entertaining game only a few weeks ago while others were saying it was dull as dishwater.
The goal yesterday was sublime, and comfortably one of the best we've seen all season down the Meadow.

To be honest, for a none-event of a game I really enjoyed it.
It was nice to watch salop play when nothing was at stake

It thought it was utterly dull. Sherons attempted lob from distance the most interesting moment, as it seemed to travel in slow-motion towards the goal. He would be good at crossbar challenge though!

Superb goal, great build up and a very smart finish by Edwards...he certainly knows where the back of the net is, he's scored some crackers this season... ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Yesterday definatley had the feel of a pre season friendly and to be honest Im happy we have nothing to play for now, the stress of relegation in the last three games would be hard to take.
