Top of my list is our team, of course. I really worried that our resident "prophet of doom" may be right, and we were headed for the drop again! Had a few sleepless nights, even. That's how much I've grown to love our team- and the more I get involved, the more I love them- and the more it hurts when they're doing badly. I used to think it was a "man thing"- one of my brothers-in-law got that way over Tranmere. I used to think, "It's only Football- how daft!!" NOW look at me, I'm one of the worst worriers. But then it's like telling someone who's in love that it's daft, if you've never been in love yourself!! (AND it's VERY similar!! ) Second thing that turned out better than I'd feared was having guests to stay at "Wiggy Towers Hotel"!! (And the woman flirts with Mr Wiggy!!) Let's face it- I was only miffed because I did all the cooking and HE gets all the attention!! Anyway- I must be getting used to catering for a few days- because it all went well, my efforts were appreciated- and I'm getting a special Shrewsbury Town flag made for me, as a "thank you". More of that later- it's a company in Kerriemuir in Scotland, and the fella used to work there!! I feel ashamed that I really didn't want to be bothered and complained about them, now!

Wiggy, the antidote to fearing the worst is remembering that there is always someone worse off than you. When our relegation took place, we were still a solvent club with a good core of players who stayed loyal - Telford on the other hand had their boat rocked by a tidal wave and had to start from almost scratch - new manager, new players, patched up Board. Fair play to them, Shakey and the staff for keeping it going, and to some shrewd moves to encourage a fan base that may well stay with them. When it comes to house guests and being taken for granted, I'm sure you have a lovely home that you are proud of, and a husband who knows where his bread is buttered. As Confucius says "man with no grass outside his house looks forlorn"

I hope to goodness the NM is better than I fear. Shan't be difficult surely as I am expecting Deva II.
Better still, I hope the blasted shed never gets built and we stay at GM!
