Couldn't be at Rochdale game due to a friend's wedding. A Rochdale fan I spoke to said that Luke a dive!? I said that he didn't usually have to dive because his pace means that he gets caught fair and square. So was it or wasn't it - and does it matter anymore?

It was defo a peno. Wasn't at the game of course but saw the goals this morning on Sky Sports. I think the Dale fans will have to put their hands up and admit it was a peno an all when they see the 'highlights'... The defender went to ground and if he didn't make contact with his first attempt he defo Luke down with his trailing leg...defo a peno...

It was definitely a penalty - but it was one he won if you know what I mean, he was very clever, he drew a foul out of their defender
A Rochdale fan on their messageboard said "I was 5 yards from the incident and it was never a penalty"
How can you be 5 yards from an incident in the middle of a football pitch?
Rochdale had a stonewall penalty denied at the beginning of the second half
and with about ten minutes to go Shrewsbury had a very clear handball in the Rochdale penalty area which was adjudged to be "ball to hand" but frankly, you jump at a ball with your arms out and it will hit them...

It was at the far end from where we were all sitting, and luke had his back to us when he went down.
Certainly looked like a penalty and i would have felt hard done by if we had not got it.
Rochdale were a little unlucky not to get a penalty early in the second half for a deliberate pull back as their player was through.
Town also were unlucky as a goalbound shot hit a dale players arm, now the player was at leaset 9 or 10 yards away so he should have moved his arm ? That to me is deliberate and not ball to hand.

Even with my most rose tinted glasses it was a penalty. Griffiths tried the usual trick of getting up immediately and having a go at Luck suggesting diving.
That is the usual actions of a guilty man I reckon!.
At least he did not try and impale himself into the turf as per Andy Johnson to get himself a penalty. That was taking things a little far!

Of course it was just because they are never going to be anything more than a mid table team and they feel as if they have yet again blown there best chance of ever achieving anything.
